RectangleShape is not defined

I have upgraded to VS2008 SP1, and the PowerPacks.VS is included.
however I still get a "Type 'Microsoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks.RectangleShape' is not defined." error.
I tried to remove the reference and add it again, made no difference.
the only item thsat shows when i enter Microsoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks is the printing namespace.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jordan

Hi Jordan,

Have you checked with YunFeng's blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/vsdata/archive/2009/07/24/visual-basic-power-packs-is-included-in-visual-studio-2008-sp1.aspx
and Steve's thread: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vbpowerpacks/thread/7751d15b-a2a9-40c6-9df2-11c98a5a862a

From what you described, it seems you might still refer to the old web version of the powerpacks.

What is the file path of the referece?
To get the file path: 1. From the solution explorer, click show all files icon on the top. 2. Expand the references 3. SelectMicrosoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks.Vs, 4. Show Property. 5. Check the Path value in the property grid. It should be sometyhing like this:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Visual Basic Power Packs\1.1\Microsoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks.Vs.dll
