How to open Password protected Excel in VB 6.0

Hi,

I need to read data from excel worksheet which is protected by password. I know the password, how to pass the password in connection string. my connection string is

"DRIVER=Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls);" & "DBQ=C:Test.xls"

Please help me. It will be very appreciable....

Excel files protected by a password can only be opened via Excel. There is no support for Excel passwords when using the ODBC driveror Jet database engine.
