Where are tcp/ip and socket controls?

I am writing a simple? application for sending a byte or two to a certain server at fixed intervals. Last time I did something like this was with VB6. But I cant find the controls, so it is a bit difficult to start.

I could also ask how to start net programming, but missing controls were the first thing I noticed. So I'll start here.

Regards
LM

What you are looking for is the namespace: system.net.sockets.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.sockets.aspx

There is a huge amount of information on the net on these. Take a look and see if that helps.

Cheers
