Does XSD Design Editor work in VS2010 B2?

If I double click on an existing XSD file in a VB project to display the XSd file in Design mode, I get a menu and some instruction, but none of the menu buttons work and my XSD file is not displayed.

Does this XSD design mode work properly in VS2010 B2?

How do I display the contents of my XSd file?

Hello Don,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MSDN forums. I have a quick test in my Visual Studio 2010 beta 2. The XSD designer works fine as my expectation. I can add new table to the dataset designer, add column for a table, set primary key.

I achieve these tasks by either the MenuBar's Data menu or theXSD designer's context menu.

So could you please be a little more specific, what menu and button does not work in your side? What content is expected to be seen, and what it is displaying now?

Looking forward to your reply!Have a nice day!

If I start up VS2010 B2 and create a new VB CloudService project, it will create some new files including some XSD files. If I go over to the Solution Explorer and double click on one of the XSD files, it will bring up the XSD file in Design mode. Now I can see the instructions and menu but I can not see any of the contents of the XSD file. Shouldn't I see the XSD file contentsdisplayed in Design mode?

How do I get the XSD file that I clicked displayed in Design mode?

THANKS.

Thanks for your clarification! I did not have Azure SDK installed in my side. As to this issue, may I suggest you repost it in the Azure dedicated forum,
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsazure/threads

We have Azure support engineer there who will be working on the issue with you!

I will repost it, but I don't think that the problem is with anything Azure related.

VS2010 B2 should be able to display any XSD file in Design mode, should it not?

Why can't some VS2010 B2 expert be able to help with this issue?
